We are pleased to announce that Associate Director Andrew Mott has recently celebrated a decade as part of the Arcus team. Andrew joined Arcus in 2011 as an Environmental Consultant initially working on delivering the coordination of planning applications for a large pipeline of Feed-in-Tariff wind turbine applications in England and Scotland. This grew into the coordination of EIAs for onshore wind farm projects in England and Scotland and the EIA for the onshore works for the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm. Andrew has also established Arcus’ Air Quality service, overseeing the delivery of air dispersion modelling, dust assessments and odour assessments for projects in a wide range of sectors, and Environmental Permitting service.
As renewable technologies have evolved, Andrew has led on our delivery and worked with all our key clients on these, having managed, directed or had some involvement with the applications for over 1.5GW of battery storage/ energy management projects, 800 MW of ground mounted solar projects and 325 MW of gas peaking plant projects.
Andrew has this to say about his ten years at Arcus:
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my 10 years – working as part of a team with great people and in a very exciting and fast evolving sector. All signs are that the renewable sector will continue to go from strength to strength and so provide further exciting opportunities.”
