Client – W Grant & Sons Distillery
Scope – An air quality assessment was undertaken for a proposed digestate fired heat energy plant at a large commercial distillery to support a planning application. The assessment used air dispersion modelling to model SO2, NO2, PM10 and CO emissions being released from the Development, alongside emissions from a number of existing boilers and generators. The planning application was approved in October 2018, with no SEPA objection.
Solution – The modelled effects were determined to be negligible and therefore no mitigation was proposed.
