The document sets out land allocations and to define York’s first permanent Green Belt boundary, although it does not contain planning policies. Proposed levels of development, in particular on greenfield sites, are significantly reduced from previous consultation versions.  The consultation continues until 12th September 2016.

Hull City Council has published its ‘Publication’ version of its Local Plan for consultation. The document sets out both planning policies and land allocations, and identifies areas suitable for wind energy development, largely within an urban context. The consultation continues until 12th September 2016.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has now adopted its Local Plan – Allocation Document, following the adoption of the Local Plan – Strategy Document earlier in 2016.
