Verifiable/Verified Photomontage – Photomontage – Visualisations

Photomontages generally are the superimposing of an image over the top of a photograph using specialist techniques and computer software. A verifiable or verified photomontage is a computer generated image formed by the use of a robust methodology, from the taking of the original photographs through to the production of the final photomontage. The methodology would incorporate best practice and recognised guidance relevant to the sector within which the final 2D or 3D visualisation is to be used.

Use of a robust methodology ensures a replicable, transparent and structured process, so that the accuracy of the photomontage can be verified by an independent party.

Each stage of the process from the initial photography through to the computer modelling follows this structure and is fully documented.

In producing our 2D and 3D visualisations, Arcus use industry recognised software such as Abode Photoshop and Autodesk 3DS Max.

Arcus can provide the following verifiable services:

  • Professional viewpoint photography
  • 2D and 3D model creation
  • 3D rendered photomontage production (to Accurate Visual Representation levels AVR0, AVR1, AVR2 and AVR3)
